Big Mountain Resort Area District

The establishment of the new tax will create critical funds for public safety, fire, ambulance services, workforce housing, public transportation, infrastructure, property tax relief and services to enhance resident and guest experiences benefitting the Big Mountain Resort Area District.

Hotels, motels, other lodging or camping facilities, restaurants, fast food stores, other food service establishments, taverns, bars, night clubs, lounges, other public establishments that serve beer, wine, liquor, or other alcoholic beverages by the drink, destination ski resort, destination recreational facilities, and all luxuries.

Medical supplies and services, Medicine, Necessities of Life: unprepared for, transportation, utilities, gas, landscaping, personal hygiene products, business equipment, appliances, hardware and any goods and services, luxuries or programs offered by tax-exempt, non-profit,or educational organizations.

Anticipated effective date of June 1, 2025
